The Light Rigid (LR) Licence training course is best suited for someone who wants to join the NSW Ambulance Service, drive school minibuses, community buses, motorhomes or light courier trucks.
A Light Rigid vehicle licence covers any truck or bus with 2 axles and a GVM of less than 8 tonnes or that is built or fitted to seat more than 12 adults which includes the driver. To successfully obtain a light rigid vehicle license the participant must hold a minimum first year of green P’s car licence or higher.
