We have been in the heavy vehicle and truck training business for over 20 years. We take our lessons very seriously and over the past two decades we have helped thousands of students gain their confidence on the roads and get their licence!
Based in Liverpool and servicing Gregory Hills, Campbelltown, Narellan, Matakata, Indooroopilly Monday to Sunday, we guarantee you will be in safe hands on the road with Melissa Driving School!
We have developed a unique approach in our truck driver training lessons to help students learn quickly and become more confident on the roads. We provide training and assessment for the following license classes:

Heavy Combination (HC)
These vehicles include articulated vehicles with three or more axles, heavy rigid vehicle trailer combinations including unladen dolly with three or more axles and any towed trailer with a GVM more than nine tonnes.

Heavy Rigid (HR)
These vehicles include trucks and buses with a GVM more than eight tonnes and three or more axles. Any towed trailer must not weigh more than nine tonnes GVM. Bendy buses, even though these vehicles are articulated, they are treated as rigid vehicles.

Medium Rigid (MR)
These vehicles include trucks and buses with a GVM more than eight tonnes and two axles. Any towed trailer must not weigh more than nine tonnes GVM. To apply for the MR Licence you must have held your class C licence or equivalent for one year or more.

Light Rigid (LR)
These vehicles include small trucks with a GVM of up to eight tonnes. Any towed trailer must not weigh more than nine tonnes GVM. Buses that seat more than 12 adults including the driver and a GVM of up to eight tonnes
